Why Does Output Scaling Keep Getting Grayed Out?

I've been messing around with OptiScaler in Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed, and I keep having issues with the Output Scaling setting getting grayed out so I can't change its settings anymore. Sometimes it happens after restarting the game, and sometimes it happens after editing the settings in-game.

It's UE4. I tried that, but it didn't help.

I'm loading OptiScaler as winmm.dll since loading it as dxgi.dll breaks ReShade upgrades (I am using ReShade to tonemap the game into HDR with the AutoHDR addon).
