9070 XT FSR4 problem (cyberpunk....)

Hello,
I tried to use OptiScaler for FSR 4 with 9070 XT but I don't know why, but in freshly downloaded up to date and adrenalin there is no fsr 4 option in the games (just in general settings), as well as no showing its status at all after launching the games.... any tip? :( win 11 latest update and nightly latest version of the OptiScaler - I have tried it in cyberpunk 2077 but I am getting same FPS with FSR on (3 in the game and native AA and 4.0.0 in Optiscaler) and off (around 45 for everything maxed and ray tracing on mid) - please, any help? :( I choose I will not try to use dll input in optiscaler input - was it right?

I second this. Just picked up my 9070XT yesterday and couldn't wait to try FSR4, yet on no game I tried the option does not appear.

If the game is whitelisted by AMD you have to enable it in the adrenaline app, it won't show ingame.

I'm not really sure what you mean? FSR native AA is native resolution so you won't see an increase in performance. Set your ingame settings to FSR 3 Quality mode and choose 4.0.0 in optiscaler and you should see an increase.

It should work... By enabling fsr3 in the game... - BUT I cannot see that first line in the popup status like shown in the Pic below

Even "not available"... My first line here is Radeon super resolution...

(There are many videos on the YouTube about fsr4 working in cyberpunk 2077, kcd2...)

Yes FSR4 works in cyberpunk but only with optiscaler. The game is simply not whitelisted by AMD so it will not be possible for it to show as active or available in the adrenaline app.

I was trying to write clearly I have installed optiscaler amd working... Yet this popup after the launch has fsr4 missing. I have 9070 xt from sapphire (nitro +) and by the guide in YouTube video it should work and show the status in that popup - and I assume it should show unavailable in not supported games... - but thus doesn't change the issue that this should work in my case with optiscaler and not - so I am trying to find out why. I had previously installed in my win 11 rtx 3070 and then undinstalled by ddu and installed adrenalin sw

Set XeSS in the game settings and then press Insert to get the Optiscaler popup. For some people the FSR3 setting does nothing and DLSS crashes the game. Once you have the Optiscaler menu showing with XeSS, change it to FSR3.x in the upscalers option. It should automatically set to FSR4.0.0.

@nas3601 Hey thanks for this solution. I tried a dozen different things to get my Optiscaler to display the FSR4 option, but this was the only thing that worked.

But I did have one concern. I noticed that after accessing the setting this way, at the top left Optiscaler tells me "Source API: XeSS"

The game definitely looks great.. but I'm wondering if that source API is being set that way is affecting anything and/or preventing me from running it with true FSR4.
