Displayed images don't fit within the viewer

Most images are larger than the viewer, so you have to scroll to view to whole image. I end up having to open them in a new tab instead. Could they be resized so they fit in the viewer, and then the view in new tab could be used if this is too small?

Discussed on RAP call: we might want to survey users and find out what people's preferences are when viewing an image.

We've had another request for this.

It might not be trivial because of the iframes. Let's timebox it to a few days to see if we can find a better way to view images, and ask the frontend guild if not.
