Currently this is not handled in the repository — the latest set of properties simply overwrites the previous set of properties for a given classification.

Per thread at https://lfaifoundation.slack.com/archives/C01F40J2XA8/p1662633901270519 it's unclear what the intended detailed behavior of effectivity dates should be, though, in various edge cases.
