   Christof wants to discuss an invitation of Holger Bruchelt to speak about MCP and SAP OData services. Agenda is approved with this addition.

   Minutes of 2025-10-01 Meeting #527.pdf

   Minutes are approved. Mike reports technical issues he encountered while submitting the public review document to OASIS.

4. MCP and SAP OData services

   This seems to refer to https://github.com/oisee/odata_mcp. TC agrees to have a 1-hour open meeting with Holger Bruchelt on 22nd October after a shortened 1-hour TC meeting.

5. Issues [8:15]
   OData TC Github Issues

   Position of # in @type references #2127
   Heiko moves to merge PR URI fragments in @type control information #2129 and close the issue as applied. Stefan and Ralf second. No objections, motion passes.

   Relative precedence of "restrictions specific to a path" odata-vocabularies#298
   TC proposes a rewording that makes clearer when two specifications are "conflicting". Heiko will update the PR Disallow conflicting restrictions for the same capability odata-vocabularies#304 accordingly.

   Consider adding railroad diagrams for the URL syntax #315
   Mike moves to merge ODATA-1379: Add syntax diagram generation tool and HTML output odata-abnf#131 and close the issue as applied. Christof seconds. No objections, motion passes.

   Christof will create another pull request that brings the railroad HTML file to GitHub Pages. GitHub Pages must be activated for the repository by an OASIS admin.

   OData V2 required continue-on-error style batch responses, V4 makes it optional for servers (due to use of Prefer) #310
   Heiko will ask why the Capabilities.BatchSupport/ContinueOnErrorSupported annotation does not solve the issue. Perhaps because it does not guarantee that the preference will always be applied?

   Mike will create an issue to deprecate Capabilities.BatchSupported and Capabilities.BatchContinueOnErrorSupported because they are redundant.

   Function odata.fillTextTemplate #2033
   There is no stakeholder for this at SAP. Heiko moves to close the issue without action. Christof seconds. No objections, motion passes.

   Control information for non-transient entities after $apply #2079
   The change is included in the Data Aggregation CSD05 document now in public review. Issue will be closed when PR Prepare OData-Data-Agg for OASIS standard #2048 is merged after the review.

   Nested collections and distinct results #2111
   TC discusses the recursiveFlatten transformation described in this issue but prefers to call it transitiveClosure along one or more navigation property paths (not just one navigation property). Mike will prepare a proposal.

   More generally, George asks about the functional gaps OData has compared to GraphQL.
