We could possibly use this lib: https://github.com/dioptra-io/diamond-miner to generate the necessary probes for diamond-miner (multipath per-flow traceroutes).

Although, I'm not entirely sure I want to tied up the two libs together. it could be as well simply two different things.

Another possibility might as well be the inverse: diamond-miner lib would rather use prowl to format the probes.
