unable to toggle nvim-tree with default configuration

Hi,
I'm rather new to Neovim so excuse my rather stupid question. I'm using Neovim 0.11.2 and installed nvim-tree with Lazy and called the setup function without arguments so I suppose the default configuration should be active. However, when I try to toggle the tree with <leader> n I'm getting the following error E486: Pattern not found: nvim-tree-api.tree.toggle

You are probably better off asking at Lazy repository. None of the developers here use Lazy as far as I know.

I'm pretty sure this isn't an issue with Lazy as I can successfully call require("nvim-tree").setup() in my config in ~/.config/nvim/lua/config/nvim-tree.lua

Exactly, which leads to believe that nvim-tree is not at fault here.

It looks like we might be closer to an official plugin manager. Hopefully next release...
