Is it possible to use PulltoRefresh with anything other ListView?

I'd love to create a grid that can use PullToRefresh rather than a vertical list.

I'm using the GridView plugin to create a scrollable grid and would like to use PullToRefresh.

If this isn't possible, doesn't anyone know of any tutorials that could help replicate the pull to refresh
functionality without this plugin?
