Poison Vine should not do over 100 damage

Description
Poison vines are described as mostly harmless, and usually they hit you once for like half your hp and you're fine. However, I just took what looked like 140 damage from one, instantly knocking me out. I don't think that should happen!

Thanks for reporting! Do you happen to remember what equipment you were wearing and what kind of party members you had with you?

I was just wearing starting gear. Ragged pants, and either leather coat or warm coat. No party members. I had a shiv.
