Not sure why? How many codeowners do we have? I dont see many people working on this repo

we have typescript team, but imho does make sense to ping everyone on every PR. Who is intenterested should be watching the repo

I know what you mean. And I agree with you. But you'd still have to have a manager/maintainer, which is explicitly marked.
