Alright so everytime I try to export something into nif that has a skin modifier I get an error saying "couldn't find a suitable skeleton root" I'm doing just like I've always done it but since the new update this is happening... Help?

Just some information:
I open the skyskel thne I import the body and then I import the item I want to fit to the body. Once I'm done fitting the piece I weld it at 0.001 and then smooth it. After that I skin it and add the BSDismemberSkin Modifier. Then I select the piece and make sure that all poly's are selected in the BSDismemberSkin Modifier and export selected. Shortly after the error pops up.

Sorry which update. We don't have an active developer on this project or an updated build so don't think that you are using the code relating to this repo, in which case I am not sure this is an applicable issue given the content?

Isn't this where we are supposed to post if we have problems with the nif plugin for 3ds max?
