Associate multiple areas to a sensor

Proposal

I would like to assign multiple areas to a single sensor.
In my case I have multiple floor in my house and I have created different areas for each floor (like Perimeter_Floor1, NightArea_Floor1, ecc...).
At the same time i would like also to create one area for each floor, but I cannot assign multiple areas to the same sensor.

What you think about?

Additional info

I know i could create some template sensor wich are the copy of the existing one and use them as a workaround, but i think that adding the same sensor to different areas is not a wrong or a bad think to do.
