inf.method = "IQR" using mean instead of median? #52

I apologize if (a) I missed something, (b) this has been addressed, and/or (c) this is the wrong place. I'm new to github — pretty much here to ask this:
I was using pirateplot with the inf.method = "iqr" and noticed that the center line wasn't where I'd expected. After poking around, I found the avg.line.fun = median option fixed that.
But shouldn't the avg.line.fun default to median when using IQR? It seems axiomatic to me, although just adding a line or two to the manpage would also help.
