Microphone bump in audio demos?

There's a noticeable "microphone plop" sound at the end of almost every demo clip on the home page - anybody else notice?

It sounds like someone touching a worn mic or putting down a handheld mic.

I wonder if this is a learned problem from the training data? Or perhaps an issue with the decoder?

It is oftentimes the sound of music playing at the end of the clip. I highly suspect they used podcasts and internet radio as their primary training dataset. Many generations contain music at the start of the clip, at the end, or both. I assume they have clipped as much out as they could so that the speech did not sound like it ended abruptly.

The quality of the audio in the demo is not reproducible with the available model and the benchmarks are not to be believed. Somehow an H100 performs worse than their stated 4090.
