User Story
As a researcher, I want the operational definition table updated with clear variable names, definitions, and categorized subheadings so that all study variables are well-defined and easily understood.
Description
The operational definition table currently lacks clear categorization and precise variable descriptions. To improve readability and facilitate consistent measurement, the table should:
- Include clear, standardized variable names.
- Provide precise definitions and measurement methods for each variable.
- Group variables under subheadings such as:
- Sociodemography
- Stress-related factors
- Outcomes
- Other relevant categories
Proposed Flow
- Review all study variables and clarify their names.
- Define each variable operationally, including units, scales, or measurement methods.
- Add subheadings to categorize variables by type.
- Ensure alignment between variable definitions and hypotheses/research questions.
Reference
- Current operational definition table in research document draft.
- Standard research methodology guidelines for variable definition.
Notes:
- Subheadings should clearly reflect the nature of the variables to aid data collection and analysis.
- Definitions should be precise to ensure consistency across qualitative and quantitative measures.
- Cross-check that all variables referenced in hypotheses are included and accurately defined.
