compatibility with original Smappee_EV integration

You mean remove the original fork? I don't want to loose all data.

Hi,
It is compatible to the official Smappee integration. However, I am not sure about the original fork Smappee EV integration.
I have not tried both side by side. I guess the only thing that may matter to you is the energy data, which I removed. The currents and power values can be transmitted to home assistant via Modbus. There are also energy registers in the Modbus interface, but I do not understand this data yet.

Let me try maybe tomorrow installing both side by side.

Oh I see now, I got things confused, sorry.
I never installed the original fork, it's the official Smappee integration that I have (I thought they were the same).

So I installed your Smappee_EV HACS version side by side with the official integration: no problem indeed.

I see the difference now: the official integration is about reading data with sensors, yours is about controlling the wallbox.
So not only compatible, but complementary.
