Request for sorting highlights by color

Fantastic tool!

It would be great to have an option to autmatically sort highligheted text by the highlight color when extracting.

Interesting feature request! Could you please tell me a bit more about how you expect it to work?
Should everything be sorted by colour priority? Should pages be ignored?
Or should it be sorted by colour as a secondary sorting option? First by pages, and then on each page by priority?

I'm still busy at the moment, so I don't know when I'll find the time to implement your feature.

Hi Florian, my use case would be to highlight different topics with different colors, for example yellow for general highlights, pink for policy recommendations, blue for unresolved questions, .. When exporting to obsidian I would like to have all extractions per topic (colors). I guess that means, sorting first by color, then by pages. Does it make sense? Cheers, Olavi

We have something similar in the feature branch, but I haven't been able to include it in the main branch and therefore the release yet.
