Can it get the peak brightness of your monitor automatically?

In Plasma6.4, there is a calibration tool to measure how high is the peak brightness of your monitor, we can also know its peak brightness via EDID. However, MPV still defaults to 1000nits for HDR videos no matter how bright your monitor is capable of.

wait really? I got mine detecting the peak display brightness properly. Have you tried using target-colorspace-hint=yes?

Fixed by #16321 on compositors supporting wp_image_description_info_v1 I believe.
