[Bug]: Markdown for abbreviations don't seem to display content in dev hub or frontend pages

What happened?

Followup for #15145

I tried on dev abbreviations according to info from mozilla/extension-workshop#1994

Added instead of html tags , to give an example The <abbr title="World Health Organization">WHO</abbr> was founded in 1948. which currently is looking good on stage, an example is in Developer Comments for https://addons.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/addon/install-and-report/

I tried for Developer comments (and other fields)
*[HTML]: Hyper Text Markup Language

What did you expect to happen?

after saving it in dev hub the field looks as being empty

*[HTML]: Hyper Text Markup Language alone being empty is what is expected. It works more like a footnote, where:

HTML is fun!
*[HTML]: Hyper Text Markup Language

Should produce

<abbr title="Hyper Text Markup Language">HTML</abbr> is fun!

I realize now the docs isn't clear on that, so this should just be a doc update.

Update after discussing with Christina, actually this is working as expected. What I've done was to define abbreviations but then didn't use them outside those lines into the field.

Example is developer comments for https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin_dev-upload/

Issue stays open for updating the docs.
