HI,

I noticed that MCP client in claude desktop got upgraded, that's great. But it seem A/B testing on one of my accounts.

The main issue, the upgrade broke previous stable MCP.

It would be intersting to have a table for compatibility as there is breaking changes. There is a lot of MCP servers now and some might need maintenance or to be rebuilt to be fixed and last days I was more ranting over my MCP server that stopped working without any reason.

This might be outside of the specs field.

But we need to maintain a table of breaking changes, that require upgrades to understand what is happening and how to fix.

There are not meant to be any breaking changes between clients and servers, as the protocol negotiates versions for exactly this reason.

If you find specific breaking changes, please file a bug report on the relevant SDK.
