Suggestion to update this list #86
Comments
I haven't been able to give this repo half the attention it needs and deserves in the last two years, so that's probably mostly my fault. We do have a ton of old links - if they're over two years old, they're probably worth removing now. Awesome lists are supposed to be only the best resources and only the recent, so an archive doesn't quite fit the format. There's another issue open about this with a couple more thoughts: #14 |
@hawkins No worries. Let's talk, you can count on me to help ;) |
We can continue here, I don't see a problem with that. I'll ask you since you're being so kind to volunteer your time, what would you like to do? Would you think we go through the list and keep only resources related to recent major versions and delete outdated links or projects? Or do you have another idea for that? I'd definitely like to prune out old information to get us closer to being a proper awesome list. |
We could start with the obvious: remove links to old repos / boilerplates. Articles are different. An old article may still be relevant. For example How to decouple state and UI (a.k.a. you don’t need componentWillMount) - data fetching, authentication, routing and testing is from 2016 but I still send it to other devs today. |
Really good point, I think that's a great direction to take. If you're still game, feel free to take a stab at removing the old repos / boilerplates / projects and let's see where that gets us. If you're over it, I'll put it on my calendar for the holiday season. |
Context
Multiple years of delightful mobx + react build setup have come to an end.
All the above leads to a need for new recipes and articles.
Many articles and boilerplates in this list are kind of outdated, while some up-to-date setup are looking for an answer.
