May be it's useful if it's possible to change the URI of the root API (see this line). But, I don't know if we use a functor or an optionnal argument.

What is the use case for changing the API base? Are there other possible endpoints? Other implementations? Does GitHub Enterprise do something?

The use-case is specific for me, I try to reimplement a subset of github API in server side but this issue is not mandatory to continue my work.
