7-day rolling content calendar · 2026-04-25 → 2026-05-03 · refresh weekly
Premise: 6 cornerstone articles drop one per day Apr 26 – May 1. Each article is the gravitational center of one day of cross-platform promo. The other articles, the Reading, and the new pricing tiers all benefit. Posting is concentrated in two daily windows that are the US prime + APAC overlap relative to Hanoi.
Key constraint — your awake hours: 7-10 AM Hanoi (= US Mon evening prime) and 8 PM-midnight Hanoi (= US Tue morning prime).
| Channel | Frequency | Why |
|---|---|---|
| X (single) | 1 / day | Article drop teaser, tied to the day's article |
| X (thread) | 1 / week | Substantive deep-dive, pick the article with strongest hook |
| 1 / day | Cornerstone article quote-pin, scheduled | |
| 2 / week | Substantive posts, never link-dropped — Mon + Thu evenings | |
| Newsletter | 1 / week | Sunday digest of the week's drops, sent to Resend audience once it's wired |
Daily article goes live: /research/decision-fatigue
X · 8 PM Hanoi (= 9 AM ET):
"Steve Jobs wore the same clothes" is the most cargo-culted productivity line of the decade.
The original willpower-as-battery research has serious replication issues. The actual cure for decision fatigue is not fewer choices — it's better classification of what counts as a decision.

Daily article goes live: /research/stop-overthinking
X · 8 PM Hanoi:
You are not overthinking.
You are avoiding.
The thinking is the costume.
Mindfulness apps treat the symptom (loops). The disease is a decision underneath that has not been made — and your brain is honestly surfacing the question every day until you answer it.

Daily article goes live: /research/four-lucky-behaviours
X · 8 PM Hanoi:
Ten years of research at Hertfordshire. ~400 self-described lucky and unlucky people. The difference came down to four behaviours.
Each one trainable. Each one replicable. None of them mystical.
The full protocol →

Daily article goes live: /research/kairos
X · 8 PM Hanoi:
There are two Greek words for time.
Chronos — clock-time, what you measure.
Kairos — the moment when conditions align, what you recognise.
You only know one. You miss the other one regularly.
The whole Luck Lab project is named after the second one. Here's why →

Daily article goes live: /research/pros-cons-list-fails
X · 8 PM Hanoi:
The pros-and-cons list works for buying a laptop.
It fails for the decisions that actually matter — because identity, regret, resentment, and relief cannot be weighed on the same scale.
The four-question framework that actually works →

Daily article goes live: /research/affective-forecasting
X · 8 PM Hanoi:
Two decades of research at Harvard and Virginia answered a quiet question.
We are reliably bad at predicting how intense future feelings will be.
We are reliably good at predicting which direction is better.
That second finding is what most decision-making advice ignores. It's also what every contemplative tradition built its practice around.

X (single, 8 PM Hanoi):
This week the Library got 6 new essays — decision fatigue, overthinking, the 4 lucky behaviours, kairos, why pros-and-cons fail, affective forecasting.

No posts. Use the day to review:
| Metric | Where to check | Target |
|---|---|---|
| Plausible visitors (week) | plausible.io/lucklab.app | >150 (vs ~10/wk baseline) |
| Form submissions | Plausible Goals tab | >15 (vs ~5/wk baseline) |
| Article-level traffic | Plausible Top Pages | At least one new article >50 visits |
| Pinterest impressions | Pinterest analytics | >2K cumulative |
| Resend audience size | Resend Dashboard | >20 contacts (after Audience-ID is wired) |
| €9 Primer sales | Stripe Dashboard | >0 (any sale = signal) |
| Tyche pay-what-you-want sales | Stripe | >0 (any sale = signal) |
If all targets hit: scale this same cadence next week with the next 6 pipeline articles. If targets miss in one channel: diagnose, don't double-down. Could be the post times, the hooks, the audience fit.
- Always 4+ paragraphs of substance before any URL
- Never post to a sub you have not commented in for at least a week
- Title should be a useful claim, not a question
- Same article = different framing per sub (decidingtobebetter vs GetMotivated vs productivity)
- Single posts should stand on their own
- Threads only when the article has 5+ pull-out claims
- Never post 2 single posts on same day on same account
- Reply to every comment in first 3 hours after posting (algo signal)
- 1 pin/day for 60 days > 60 pins on day 1
- Same article can have 3 different pins (same URL, different title/visual)
- Pinterest rewards consistency more than virality
- New pins on existing boards > new boards every week
- One email per week, Sunday
- Format: one short hook (5 lines), one article link, one quiet question
- Never sell directly in the newsletter — sell in the article it links to
- Open rate target: 30%+ (industry standard 22%) → if dropping, the subject lines are the leak
After this week's 6-article batch lands, the next-up topics from the
pipeline (content/pipeline.md):
- Wu wei — action without forcing
- Amor fati — love what is
- Implementation intentions (Gollwitzer)
- The reticular activating system
- How to know what you want
- Regret minimisation reframed
Same cadence. One article per day. Posting protocol identical.
Treat the first 4 weeks as the content compounding test. If one article gets traction (>500 visits in week 1), that informs which cluster to prioritise next.
This plan refreshes weekly. Move articles to "Shipped" in content/pipeline.md as they go live. Add new ones to the bottom of this plan when the pipeline produces them.
