(Windows) Installing Python and ensuring that python -v in command prompt, worked for me. If py -v works put python -v doesn't its because Claude Desktop cant recognize py

You need to go to settings -> apps -> advanced app settings -> app execution aliases -> scroll down to "App installer" and untoggle both python and python3

Also, on Windows if you right click on the dxt file and under Properties > General select "Unblock" in the security section.

Installing and running via DXT is really buggy on Windows (Claude issues), so if you cant get it working, you can do the more manual / developer install (instructions in readme).

Sorry its such a hassle.
