What happened?

After upgrading to version 5.0.1, it caused a huge amount of traffic on my home LAN, reaching up to 6TB in a week. I have already disabled the MQTT function.

Thanks for the post, but unfortunately you have given us essentially no information about your system, making it impossible to try to help.

1. Could you run $ shairport-sync --displayConfig and post the results please?
2. Does Shairport Sync actually work?
3. What version did you upgrade from?
4. What kind of computer and OS is hosting Shairport Sync? Was the computer's OS recently updated?
5. What else is running on the computer?
6. What make you think Shairport Sync might be generating this traffic, as opposed to something else? Do you have any further information, such as logs?
