bake spring error: anim_utils.py line 2366: 'str' object has no attribute 'listConnections'

Hi, I’m trying to bake spring nodes in Maya 2025 with mGear 5.0.7, but I get the following error:

..Documents\maya\modules\scripts\mgear\core\anim_utils.py line 2366: 'str' object has no attribute 'listConnections'

The springs work fine on the timeline, but this error appears when I try to bake them. How can I fix this?
