Only first letter is taken into account when detecting matches for jump

When triggering the jump command (⌥+/). only the first letter I type in is used to match to characters on the screen, instead of the expected behavior—letting me type a string of characters abc to match text with the same sequence (eg abcdef and sfeabc).

I was seeing the same issue, and putting this in settings.json seems to fix it:

"metaGo.jumper.commandsToUseSingleTargetChar": null,

Clicking "Edit in settings.json" on the "Meta Go > Jumper: Commands To Use Single Target Char" setting does this for you, since it initializes to null.

Edit: Actually, the feature is pretty unreliable due to #57 so maybe that's why it's disabled by default.

I think it is the intended default. See https://github.com/metaseed/metaGo/blob/master/src/metaJump/README.md#metajump . Search (Ctrl + F) commandsToUseSingleTargetChar. It indicates the default.
