This applies to a bunch of files that I restored earlier. I have the files; my problem is: How to get rid of this message. There is no action proposal indicated, which is unfortunate.

Did you try the Reboot sync option, previously called Deep scan, assuming you weren't just directly uploading ?

I didn't see any such options. I was kind of disheartened that a problem seemed to be insolvable, and most of all, proposed a remedy, while none was indicated on the tab I was directed to in the applet.
My problem was finally resolved after a full reboot of the machine.
For completeness: F41, 5.8.0, 64 bit (ddaaf5e)

Now it is getting really wrong!!! Had the same thing again, never mind, reboot.
Though, now everything that I put into the local folder is uploaded to the cloud (correct), and subsequently deleted locally as well as in the cloud, so that I can only find the files in the sync debris. Which is very incorrect! because by now I have already lost some data!!
So I have immediately set the system on Pause, to avoid more damage. Please help, to find the problem!
