Follow-up to #14261, which adds a SITL integration test framework running QGC against a real PX4 SITL instance (PX4 SIH Docker container) to validate MAVLink protocol behavior that MockLink cannot exercise — real UDP handling, parameter sync over lossy transport, mission protocol round-trips, standard modes negotiation, and command ACK semantics.
This issue tracks evaluating and adopting that SITL-based unit test approach. We will give the SITL unit tests a try after 5.1 goes out the door.
