Mauro,

I hope all is well and that you've been sailing a lot.

We have recently updated squiddio and made a new release that builds all the OS that Opencpn supports, so it should be more comprehensive. This is all in a PR here #151 that needs to be merged.

Also it would be great if you could implement the "Show and Hide POI and Show Text #141 #152" feature.
Thanks.

@mauroc @bdbcat Have pushed the 1.3.30.0 streamline + libs to github.com
https://github.com/rgleason/squiddio_pi/tree/streamline

The result will likely land in cloudsmith/opencpn/squiddio-beta

The one thing that needs to be done with this plugin is to implement the Show and Hide POI and Show Text
This is now possible because of the updated API! We may also have to update the API as well as it is still 116

Please see jongough/testplugin_pi#253 (comment)
Where Tony points out that this is entirely possible.

This has been hanging around for a long time and it does cause confusion with users because it is not implemented.
I would very much appreciate getting this done soon.
