Seems tables are not supported? I found only a few style about it: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Amatthiask%2Fdjango-prose-editor%20table&type=code

There is https://github.com/ProseMirror/prosemirror-tables

Or must i just enable via config?!?

That's right, tables aren't supported right now.

I'm not sure what the maintenance state of prosemirror-tables is. Atlassian is using it, but there were some doubts about ongoing maintenance. It seems the repo has some activity so that's a good sign! See also https://discuss.prosemirror.net/t/why-is-prosemirror-tables-not-maintained/4522

Very sad. So i must switch to https://github.com/jazzband/django-tinymce/ because i need table support now ;)

TinyMCE isn't a bad choice. The license change is discouraging though, see jazzband/django-tinymce#468 and jazzband/django-tinymce#426 resp. tinymce/tinymce#9453

Tables are supported now; you have to define your own editor preset and add the Table, TableCell etc. extensions, see https://tiptap.dev/docs/editor/extensions/nodes/table and https://github.com/matthiask/django-prose-editor?tab=readme-ov-file#customization
