Automatically update Patreon sponsors

This is partially a question/request for clarification, and partly an offer to help out depending on the answer. :)

My work @endlessm recently started sponsoring on Patreon at the "Highlighted Sponsor" level—we'd love to post about it, but we were waiting for the page to update. Which got me wondering: how often does the Patreon data update? I see patreon.mjs; is this something manually-run locally?

If so, would it be possible to run it in CI on a recurring basis, e.g. weekly? I'd be happy to help set that up, though it would require someone putting the secrets in the GitHub repo settings.

Hey Cassidy, first of all - thank you for the sponsorship! and thanks for this question. I'll check on the process that is involved here, I am fairly sure that this is currently manual but need to confirm / and whether we could move over to something more automated. Thanks for the suggestion!

OK, checked in on this, and at the moment this is indeed a manual process. The folks involved with that process are on vacation right now so it may be a week or so to bring things up-to-date. Mid to longer-term, we would like to improve / automate this more, but it is not only based on Patreon so there are multiple sources of data that are being used, and it may be more than just a single set of updates to merge in.
