how to activate excel with Insider access?

As is shown on the official announcement,
Python in Excel is only available on Excel for Windows if you're using the Beta Channel. To use this feature on Excel for Windows, join the [Microsoft 365 Insider Program] and choose the Beta Channel Insider level.

After activating using the default option with office365 - O365EduCloudRetail installed, it doesn't have access to that feature.

To change your Office update channel to Insider, open command prompt as admin and enter

It will upgrade to the Insider build. Login your outlook account in office and it will allow you to use Python in excel for some time, (preview) after that it won't work.

I've tried it several times without luck. Finally, migrating from O365EduCloudRetail to O365HomePremRetail, along with the commands above did the trick. Than you.

HI, Even if I get into the preview or beta channel, and no more errors accessing python in excel, each time it run the function through the cloud would still check for the account subscription. And it returns BLOCKED! which I have no idea how to bypass.
That being said , still unusable. :-(
BTW, I use office tool to manage the installation process. with the ability to choose the version and install directly.
Maybe I should reopen the discussion for others to explore the workaround.

@wstlxx As I mentioned, without subscription license, it allows you to use Python in excel for some time, (preview) after that it won't work.
