iOS late prefetch registration bypasses an in-flight token refresh and skip policy #222

Closed

Description

@OskarEichler

On current main, prefetchOnStart marks initialized before its asynchronous token refresh finishes. registerPrefetchInternal then immediately starts late entries with the previous cached tokens. An extracted Swift reproduction with a gated refresh returns late:old before refresh completes; success later sends original:fresh, while onFailure=skip still leaves the late request sent. Stored-header fallback also dispatches early. Expected: late registrations share the startup refresh result, including skip and fallback behavior. The reproduction uses synthetic tokens and no external network. No matching existing issue/PR was found.
