Paginator item count not showing on Material Data Table with AkitaDataSource

The paginator's item count when using Material Data Table with AkitaDataSource when you navigate away and then come back to the page.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to the demo project
2. Observe that the paginator's item count is working
   
3. Click on Products to navigate to another page within the application.
4. Click on angular-material-demo to navigate back to the Material Data table with AkitaDataSource demo
5. Observe that the paginator's item count is showing 0 of 0
   

The temporary workaround found here is working for me.
