Description
Right now floppy_connector doesn't seem to be capable of automatically configuring the correct type of disk device when given a softlisted entry on the command line, as is done for cartridges. This deficiency is benign for lesser machines whose system disks were all supplied in only one format anyway, but for PC/AT emulation it's a serious issue and produces bizarre and misleading messages such as "DRIVE NOT READY ERROR" or "Disk Boot failure" when the configuration isn't just right (MAME's disk devices are more format-specific than actual FDDs).
