Hello, is it really necessary to connect pin +5V on PZEM-6L24 with ESP32 board like on schema?

like technical doc says PZEM-6L24 has own 3v power supply to ttl/rs485 protocol.
On pzem-6l24 5V pin there is no power so we must power esp32 from external power source.
