Feature Request: Add Better-Auth Integration

This feature request proposes adding Better-Auth integration to Lemon Squeezy’s ecosystem, similar to existing community plugins (e.g., Polar, Dodo, Autumn).
Better-Auth is a popular open-source authentication library that developers often use when building SaaS products. Many of these products also need payment solutions, and Lemon Squeezy is a perfect fit due to its global availability compared to Stripe.

Motivation

• Stripe Limitations: Stripe is not available in many countries, which blocks developers from easily monetizing apps.
• Developer Demand: Better-Auth users frequently request Lemon Squeezy as a payment option, but the Better-Auth team doesn’t add payment
• Providers themselves. They expect payment providers (like Lemon Squeezy) to publish the plugins.
• Synergy: By providing official support, Lemon Squeezy can position itself as the go-to alternative for developers already using Better-Auth.

Proposed Solution

• Create a better-auth-lemon-squeezy plugin (package).
• Implement the standard payment integration methods:
  • createCheckoutSession
  • validateWebhook
  • retrieveSubscription
• Provide clear documentation and setup guides for Better-Auth developers.

Stripe is not supported in India, which limits the ability of many developers to use BetterAuth effectively. A large number of developers are waiting for alternative payment integrations. Adding support for LemonSqueezy would be a great solution, as it works globally and provides a developer-friendly API.

This would make BetterAuth accessible to a much wider community, especially in regions where Stripe is unavailable.
