Can you provide an example of what you're looking to do? I'm not sure what "use Layers to output to LuminanceHDR processing" means.
Sorry, something went wrong.
Multi-Exposure dynamic range processing. Photographers can use it to generate much more detailed or even surrealistic images.
There are many more ways to combine layers than simple alpha blending or slightly more complicated subtract/multiply/darken/lighten adjustments.
