Allow hosting Livebook in an existing app

Elixir livebook doesn't have an "integrate livebook into your existing app" guide. Or, docs on hex.pm =(

Oh, I see what you are trying to do. That's not officially supported, which is why there is no documentation. At best you can run it on a separate port.

We understand that people want this feature but there is no easy way right now to encapsulate Livebook into something you could mount as a Plug due to the endpoint, sockets, assets, and other Livebook features. It is definitely doable if we provide long setup instructions but those would be brittle and having to deal with yet another way of deploying Livebook is going to add more complexity for us. I also know future Phoenix versions may tackle some of those issues (for example, allowing you to start a socket with a connection) but at the moment it is not worthy for us.
