qbittorrent won't log in when opened from dashboard

hello,

i put qbittorrent into the dashboard as an app, and it can get stats from qbittorrent to display seeds/leeches, speeds, etc. but when i click on it to launch the webui and try to log in, it just spits me back into a blank log in for the webui.
