Due to one of the worst possible design of APIs in Rust the im crate HashMap cannot be used on most types. You can check the issue here: bodil/im-rs#196.

The crate also appears to be dead and a new fork has been created (https://github.com/jneem/imbl), could you consider adding a feature to use imbl instead of im?

EDIT: Nevermind imbl has the same stupid design!
