Specs
1. Change attachments location.
Context
In order to best meet users' needs for easy access to attachments without taking up too much space in relation to the email content, we would like to change the location of attachments.
User Story
As a mobile user (application or responsive),
I want a shortcut button in the application header that I can click to quickly access all attachments,
So that I can easily find and manage attachments without navigating through multiple menus.
As a desktop user,
I want to see my shortcut at the top of the content email (old behavior)
2. Increase size of attachments.
Context
In preparation for the arrival of thumbnails, and to improve the display of attachments, we would like to increase their size.
User Story
As a user,
When I access to an email with attachments, attachment has a bigger size than today,
Each attachment is represented by an icon corresponding to its file extension.
3. Add button +x more
Context
Since we have decided to display attachments at the top of email content for desktop users, we want to display only some attachments by default and have a ‘+x more’ button to display all attachments.
User Story
As a desktop user,
I see the maximum of attachments that I can display in a line (included +x more button)
If I have more attachments, I have a +x more button (see mockups)
When I click on ‘+x more’ button, all attachments are displayed in the current screen
As a mobile user (application or responsive),
I see two attachments at the bottom of my mail content
If I have more attachment, I have a ‘+x more’ button (see mockups)
When I click on ‘+x more’ button, all attachments are displayed
