What is apple maps providing the google maps can't?

Don't get me wrong, I am willing to spend time to to add a useful map.
But I will not add a map to the list (and slow down load times) just because a map is there and I can.

Hi, I work in areas that are remote and sometimes Apple maps has more recent imagery than Google maps (although google is usually better). Where I am working either service can have imagery that is several years old. An area can be hidden and blurred on Google maps and not hidden on Apple maps or vice versa. This would vary a lot depending on what area of the world we're looking at. It seems that lately Google is getting better for getting more recent imagery in remote areas.

I had a look at it. The format Apple is using is a little bit strange and not really XYZ standard. currently really busy with other things. it might need some time to get this implemented.
