Feature Request: Dedicated Windows for GlobOps/LocOps with Integrated IRCop List #2748
Description
I would like to propose a new feature to enhance the network monitoring capabilities of KVirc: the implementation of dedicated, channel-like windows for GlobOps and LocOps messages.
Currently, network operator messages often get lost in the status window. This feature would involve:
- Dedicated Windows: Automatically capture GlobOps and LocOps notices into their own separate windows (similar to how private queries or channels operate).
- Integrated Nicklist: Add a side panel to these windows (similar to a channel's nicklist) that displays a real-time list of online IRCops.
Importance for Team Coordination
This feature would greatly improve communication among the network's IRCops. By centralizing staff-only traffic and providing a clear view of who is currently online, it ensures that critical administrative discussions are seen promptly and that team members can coordinate much more effectively.
Use Case
This would significantly improve the workflow for Network Administrators and Operators, allowing them to monitor global/local operations while simultaneously seeing which colleagues are active, all within a focused interface.
