Platform WG roadmap for KF 1.10

The 1.10 release team will use this tracking issue to coordinate the integration of the Platform components with the Kubeflow 1.10 release.

Heads up that the feature freeze is scheduled for January 20th 2025 (needs confirmation). For the full release schedule, refer to the 1.10 release timeline.

To prepare for the 1.10 release, please provide answers to the following questions:

1. What version of Platform components would you like to include for the 1.10 release?
2. Could you provide a branch/tag for this version? (note: It doesn't have to be final)
3. Can you share a link to all open / work in progress issues that you're expecting to include in the 1.10?
4. If you're using the following dependencies, could you provide the versions you'll be supporting for each dependency?

• KServe/KNative
• Istio
• Kubernetes
• Cert-Manager
• Kustomize

• Kustomize was updated 5.4.3
• now looking into K8s there is not yet 1.32 for Kind, so only then will be possible to perform the upgrade
• will be checking by making tests against PRs, without a "matrix in GHA", as anyway they are smoke test to make sure installtion, basic examples are covered, and then mention the K8s version tested in the Release notes (along with some manual testing)
• make Istio CNI default, but looking into help/contributions
• improved some docs for DEX, and oauth2 proxy

on track, looking for someone to get involved with the Security changes implementations for the "pod security standards" (othewise security context constraints")
