Thanks for CNCF TAG Contributor Strategy for assisting the KubeEdge project in conducting a detailed and comprehensive governance review. This issue will track the issues identified during the review.

Critical:

• Need to complete transition to new governance, or define the process more clearly CNCF Governance Review: Update the role responsibilities of KubeEdge maintainer #200

• Unclear split between Security Team/SIG Security CNCF Governance Review: Updates for team security member #202

Med:

• Directs folks to report CoC incidents to [email protected], but unclear who that is or if they have CoCC training
• Contributor guide is insufficient for project complexity
• Contributor membership roles need to be reconciled with the actual roles people hold

Low:

• Should define which contributor ladder roles are per-SIG
• 5 different classes of senior roles may be too large for project
• Translate governance docs to Chinese for accessibility
• Link to governance/community repo from READMEs in other repos
• Document PR/roadmap approval requirements/process
• Take better meeting notes for reference
• Document if repos are owned by SIGs
