OpenSky ADS-B Not connecting

I'm having issues conecting to ADS-B network, does anyone know how to fix, or is an APIkey required for this?

I have tried restarting the .exe, and retried loading a few times.

Yes, this happens because OpenSky Network heavily rate-limits anonymous connections, and they frequently block VPN or shared IP addresses entirely. An API key/account isn't strictly mandatory to run the app, but it is highly recommended to bypass these limits.
Here is how you can fix the connection issue:

1. Create a Free Account: Go to OpenSky Network and register for a free account.

2. Add Your Credentials:
   If you are just using the .exe: Open the app's Settings menu, find the integrations/API section, and enter your OpenSky credentials.

. If you are building from source: Copy the .env.example to .env and add your

OpenSky OAuth2 credentials:
OPENSKY_CLIENT_ID=your_client_id
OPENSKY_CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret

3. Turn off your VPN: If you are using a VPN, disable it temporarily. OpenSky aggressively drops connections from known VPN IP ranges, which causes the "Acquiring Data" screen to hang indefinitely.

4. Restart the .exe and wait 10–15 seconds for the initial data fetch.
