I hope you don't find me annoying but after using it every day for over a week now I have some more feedback. I really like it though!
Phantom button
Even if I have "Friends" disabled, the menu will still navigate to it. You can't see the button but if you keep pressing R1 on the main menu it will still navigate to it.
Missing platforms
Capcom Play System 1-3 (cps1, cps2, cps3)
Commodore 64 (c64)
PICO-8 (pico8)
These 5 platforms are not appearing even if I have populated the folders with roms.

A couple of systems which have vertical boxart like PSP end up blocking the game name with the boxart in carousel layout because the boxart is too tall.
The next three are not bugs, just a wishlist.
Favourites
Since you can already add games to favourites, it would have been awesome to have a category on the home page that collects the favourites from every system in one collection.
A list library layout
I like the choice between carousel and grid, but I would have loved to have a third one with a list for the systems with a lot of games in. It would look nice to have a vertical list of game names on the left and boxart/metadata on the right, so you can see many game names on one screen while scrolling down.
Scrolling
Speaking of scrolling, R2 and L2 do nothing on the game list so it would have been nice to have them for example jump 10 ahead or even better skip to the next letter so you can easily jump down a list faster.
Anyway, I appreciate your work, I think the frontend is very good, I keep sending it to friends and they think its impressive too
