Option 1: Submodules

Look into using https://git-scm.com/docs/gitsubmodules in order to separate the UI and content. kenjdavidson-content would contain:

  • articles
  • timeline
  • pages
  • images
  • etc

while the primary kenjdavidson.github.io would contain the theme. This would allow for any changes in Gatsby or other frameworks that allow reading and manipulating content.
